What kind of pictures work best for the Little Superstars composites?
Submit pictures taken in a portrait orientation, not landscpe. Remember, we are trying to create a magazine cover effect.
There are two other important factors you should consider when taking or choosing a picture of your child for the Little Superstar composite:
-Focus on your child as closely as you wish them to appear on the finished "cover." Most parents choose to submit head and shoulders shots but this is certainly not a rule.
-Try to keep your child's hairline as smooth as possible. Individual strands of hair are very difficult to place over text in a realistic manner. Having your child wear a hat is a fantastic solution! Children look gorgeous in hats and the shape of a hat is easily edited.
What size should the picture I submit be for high quality printing?
Yes, you may. It is not a must but certainly not a problem either! Please be sure that the picture is in portrait orientation and that you own the copyright of the picture, though. Many professional photographers retain the copyright of pictures they take - even of your child. Ashni accepts professional pictures in good faith that you own the copyright. Ashni accepts no responsibilty for possible copyright infringement.
