What kind of pictures work best for the Elements of Colour picture effect?
We recommend dressing your child in solid colours. Printed fabric steals the limelight from your child in a picture. Keep the focus of the shot on your child and the activity he or she is engaged in.
Try to make sure there are as few distracting objects behind/around your child as possible. Limit other objects to only things you wish to appear in the final picture.
Get down to your child's level. Crouch or kneel so that the camera is not too angled.
What size should the picture I submit be for high quality printing?
Yes, you may. It is not a must but certainly not a problem either! Please be sure that you own the copyright of the picture, though. Many professional photographers retain the copyright of pictures they take - even of your child. Ashni accepts professional pictures in good faith that you own the copyright.
